Thanks! [He grins.]

Oh! [He points at himself as he catches his drift.]

Well, you're in luck. I'll be glad to lend you a hand, man!

Wonderful. [He folds his hands and cracks his fingers.] We'll make a chicken to accompany your dog.

[There's a bunch of leftover noodles on the side of the pool. He starts with the basic frame: a curbed noodle attached to a straight one, forming the chicken's back and belly.]

Whoa! No chickening out of this one.

[He takes one of the leftover noodles and watches his work. Then he grabs a noodle and starts trying to twist it into some kind of a tail? He's not completely sure what he's doing.]

[The chicken requires a round body, so Mohammed adds more curved noodles on the side of the frame until it begins to resemble a fat chicken.]

The head. Can you do that part?

[digthefuzz]

I'm on it!

[Okay, so now Kurt takes another noodle and twists it into a head-like shape, then he tries to attach it to the empty space in their concoction.]

How's this look? Good enough to eat?

[prometheanflame]

[He looks up from his body in progress.]

...It resembles a head.

[digthefuzz]

[He shrugs.]

Well, that'll work. ...Right?

[prometheanflame]

Can't you work a crest?

[If we're going to build a statue, at least don't half-ass it.]

[digthefuzz]

Oh! R-right. That too. Um... I can try!

[That sounds a little harder, but after thinking it over a little, he takes two noodles and twists them around so that they form something like a crest-like pattern.]

[The body is ready, and Mohammed steps away to admire his work.

...Half of the body is decently covered by noodles, while the other half looks spare. It's a half-skeletal chicken. Zombie chicken.]

It looks like a chicken.

[Kurt looks a bit more nervous about his handiwork, but Mohammed's word sounds close enough to approval to him.]

Right, and that's what matter's, right? We're the noodle kings, man!

[He busts out a goofy victory dance!]

[Mohammed will be encouraging to the Youth and let Kurt do his dance. They did put effort into the noodle sculpture to warrant a celebration.]

The real test is seeing if it floats.

[He stands up and gently holds two of the noodles on one side of the chicken.]

[Thank you for approving of his funky moves, Mohammed.

Kurt does nod at his suggestion.]

Right! That's a good point... It's time to let our work be the real chicken of the sea!

[With a hearty smile, he grips noodles from the other side, ready to dip it right into the water!]

[And it goes! The noodle chicken floats.

...And flops onto its side. The poor animal was tall and narrow that it is easily unbalanced.]

...It makes for a good pool toy.

[He applauds.]

Yeah, totally! We really did it man... The SS Chicken Noodle has officially set sail! Who's da man!
