So I know we said we'd compare notes once something changed but I didn't think it would only be TWO DAYS.

If I can reach the desk, grab a giant pen, and write legibly.

It's as if Jim is punishing us for THINKING about going paper and pencil.

You're right. It's definitely too suspicious that our phones are normal size, but not the notebooks.

I'm going to risk making a note on my phone until I can... find a golf pencil, I guess? It might be a little easier to write with...

I have an idea. Do you have a mechanical pencil? The lead should be small enough to write with.

I was able to write about a sentence with the pencil lead, but that's about all I can do. A sweater is a good idea, though. I'll bring pieces of the lead and some paper down with me. When I figure out how to get down. It feels a lot taller than I thought it would.

That's good. I could also write notes at work if I manage to get there on time.

I wonder if "turning small" is a valid excuse for arriving late.

[There's no response. Mohammed is too busy reaching into the birdseed, wrapping it up in his sweater, and pulling himself onto the stand. This isn't enough to feed all four of the budgies, he tells himself as he pours in the first batch into the feeder.

I don't drive, so I'll take the bus again. I'll just ask for a ramp.

[Down again he goes, then up. Down and up. Everyone must be fed. No fruit for them today, sadly, until he finds a way to reach the kitchen counter. They can't be let out to fly if they're not going to have a full diet. Cleaning the cage will be a nightmare.
