Something called destiny? Maybe. Or there could be a person for every soul on this planet, and only those in Recolle find theirs.

The whole planet... I guess that'd explain why some of us aren't from here, too. But the city's practically cut off from everything else, though.

If we could leave whenever we wanted and interact with the outside world, their project would not be as successful.
Or there are other projects like Recolle happening that we aren't aware of.

If only we could read posts by people in other cities with similar apps, we could confirm this and work together.
Obviously, Retrospec and the other groups didn't want us to know about them if that's the case.
