Joseph is hit by some of the projectiles, but Mohammed is able to burn the rest before they get too injured.
Meeting Holly Kujo, Joseph's daughter, at the airport. After greeting and hugging each other, she talks about an "evil spirit" haunting her son Jotaro. The three leave the airport.
Encountering Hol Horse - after shoving Polnareff aside, he faces Hol Horse's magic bullet only to be stabbed in the back by J Geil's Stand, then is shot in the head while he's distracted. He ultimately lives, but he's unconscious after that.
Arriving to Calcutta on a boat.
On Captain Tennille's boat, where Jotaro asks Abdul to light his cigarette (and he does).

Getting into an argument with Polnareff - he wants to run off to find his sister's killer, who he just saw in Calcutta. Abdul tells him that he's running into an obvious trap, and it devolves into lots of shouting. Polnareff ends up telling Abdu that he's just acting like he's better than everyone else and reminds him that he ran away from DIO. Abdul almost punches him, but Joseph stops him. They let Polnareff leave the group, to Abdul's disappointment.
